A complete file will be provided on arrival in
Cambodia for complete information on typical restaurants and some practical
info & off-the-beaten-track tours in order to preserve the originality of
our tours.
Day 1: SIEM REAP
Welcome
at the airport. As applicable, drop your luggage off at a hotel.
Excursion
with English speaking guide and boat private on the Tonle Sap Lake to the Kampong
Phluk flooded forest through the fishing village of Chong Khneas, about 1h30 by boat separates these two villages.
Visit
the Kampong Plukvillagefishermen,
fantastic and unique in its kind. A village on the water cut off from the
world... accessible only by boat.
During
the dry season, you walk in this village built
surrounding a pagoda. You can observe the constructions and renovations of
houses and boats, the way of life of the local people, the means of
transportation of villagers who live 6 months on the water. Visit the houses and
small factories of fish, small market etc...
During
the wet season,you will embark on
a private boat from one house to another and you will change a little later
again a small boat to explore the flooded forest.
Our
vehicle is waiting for you at Kampong Phluk, 45 km of road we will hold
in the forgotten temple of Beng M al a (flower in the pond).
The
quality of the architecture and decoration of this temple will amaze you despite the fact that nature and humans have left it in
ruins.
Note:
trip can be done in reverse.
Optional
on the day:unlike other agencies that make you visit the 'Crocodile Farm' we will take
you in a local family-owned farm. The more adventurous can hold (crocodiles!)
babies in their hands. It is a downtown; it takes at least 30 minutes. If you
do not want to visit, you can inform theguide.
Later
you will go to the discover Siem Reap: field-schools (Artisan D'angkor)
Then
visit "Psa Chas", the old market, lively city tour behind the Ta
Prohm hotel where you can walk the evening (restaurants, massages, shops, and
crafts... night market).

visitsmay be transferredto
the followingday.
Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 2: SIEM REAP (B - D)
A whole day is devoted to the temples in the small and
grand circuit:
Ta
Prohm, Banteay Kdei, Pre Roup, Tasom, Neak Pean, Krol Kor, Prasat Pithu, Preah
Khan, Preah Palilay.
6:30 p.m. Diner offered with "Apsara"
show at Amazon: huge buffet of all kinds of Cambodian specialties with
Apsara show (20 male and female dancers).
Overnight in Siem Reap.

In Siem Reap, there
is a quality show organized by the circus school of Battambang. (Strongly
recommended but with additional charge, ask your guide to reserve at your
convenient date. Phone: 015499480).
Day 3: SIEM REAP (B)
This
day is reserved for the visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom and the famous temple of Angkor Wat
The
ancient capital of Angkor Thom consist of : Bayon,
Baphuon, Terrace of the Elephants, the Royal Palace, Terrace of the Leper King,
Phimeanakas, Chau SayTevada, Thommanon, Tanei and
Takeo
Afternoon:
visit the famous Temple Angkor Wat in detail and Bakheng for the
sunset.
Option
without supplement: at 18 km from Siem Reap, the silk farm center, the
breeding of the silkworms in the traditional weaving, the craftsman treats the
whole process and makes beautiful parts in the old motives.
Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 4: SIEM REAP (B)
Excursion
of the day 40 km from Siem reap. Visit one of
the first capitals of the Khmer empire, Mahendraparvata founded by
Jayavarman II. The site is confirmed and found in 2013 with the Lidar
technology help, called Phnom Kul n(at the top of the mountain sacred, amazing Buddha
carved in the rock, not far a small torrent with waterfall for swimming...)
On
the road of return, discovery of the famous temple of Banteay Srei
(Citadel of women) also called "Tribhuvanamaheśvara". It is
located 25 Km North of Siem Reap. Built of stone in fragile pink stone which
make these motifs carved as precious Khmer art and attracted the attention of Andr Malraux in 1923
Optional
and if you are passionate,in
the direction of Banteay Srei possibility to visit:

The Museum of mines (With extra charge, you pay at the entrance). http://www.cambodialandminemuseum.org
On
the way back, visit small temples (Banteay Samre,
Prasat Prei, Prasat Tor...).
Note:
For the adventurous, possibility to make a trek by following the trail of
pilgrims. Approximate 50 m. Cliff Preah Chup and 5 km in the forest.
Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 5: SIEM REAP (B)
Free time. Depending on the departure time you can take
a ride in the various markets for last purchases.
